Registration for the 2025 Workshop
The 2025 Strings at St Albans (31 May-1 June) weekend workshop is designed for adults (17-101 years of age) and preferably level 3 and above plus a reasonable ability to sight-read music. With the assistance of specialist professional tutors and conductor, Paul Taylor, we will practice a variety of music, written or adapted for strings orchestra.
Workshop fees:
Strings at St Albans is not-for-profit. We will endeavour to keep the fees for the weekend workshop, including meals similar to last year's fee of $245.
Fees include: tutoring by professional musicians plus morning and afternoon tea, light meals and Saturday evening buffet dinner.

Payment by the 1st May 2025
$245 for registration, including, morning and afternoon tea, light lunches on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday evening.
Plus $50 if you are bringing an extra person to the dinner on Saturday evening.
Dinner at the historic Settlers Arms Pub in the Village on Friday evening is a la carte, at your own expense, commencing at 6.30pm.
For us to know who has paid, please put your name and Strings at St Albans in the bank details. Some banks also allow you to email a receipt directly to the recipient.

Orchestra Practice location:
St Albans School of Arts Hall (an historic tin shed, built by the locals) on St Albans Road, entrance about 50 metres on the left just past the bridge into the Village. Best to park cars at the bottom (cellos excepted) if you don't mind walking up the drive or steps. We will break out from there for parts practice on Saturday. Maps will be sent out.
